A video for UK law students studying theft. Theft is defined under s. 1(1) of the Theft Act 1968 as "dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it" and contains five key elements: dishonesty, appropriation, property, belonging to another and intention to permanently deprive. This lecture looks at all five elements by splitting them up into the actus reus and the mens rea of the crime. Appropriation means taking and this only needs to be a right; not all of the rights associated with property (Morris ). Appropriation can even take place with consent or with title to the property since Gomez supported in Hinks . This is controversial and arguably diminishes the importance of the actus reus in theft. ...

21.10.15 On Springford Road AGAIN. little scrouts on the estate trying to steal my bike again!! They couldn't steal it so look what they did! If anyone knows who these disgraceful bastards are, please get in contact by message so I can extract revenge in our own way as the police don't seem to have any powers. We recovered one of the bikes that was used, (the one the asshole jumped off), both bikes used were stolen. We took the bike home which was then collected by police, unfortunately the other one is still being used.. I'm now waiting for their return to try again for the 3rd time!... We will not stop until they are put in jail, or hospital. The morgue sounds fitting for their crimes and disrespect!
Grand Theft Auto is a massive series nowadays. But let's not forget the humble beginnings of the franchise. The first game came out in 1997, it doesn't play very well and there's a lot of really weird things about it. You're better off replaying GTA2 or any of the 3D installments. In this stream, I play the first level of the game. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/psychedelic_eyeball
Police say Zachery Burgess went on a dangerous joy ride after playing a popular video game.
Grand Theft Auto sees its first real sequel come out in 1999. While the gameplay itself is not a huge step forward, it does result in a game that has more variety and is also infinitely more playable and forgiving. It also looked really good, thanks to its well-used lighting effects. In this stream, I go hog wild and play the first 2 levels of the game! (out of 3) Sorry for the loud game audio, I'm a little quiet in this video. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/psychedelic_eyeball
